My Free Weight Loss Program, tips and advice

I have gained weight and loss weight as we all have. I've decided to share some tips I have discovered. Some of the tips are basic and well known, but must be included, as they are always true. Others may surprise you.

1) No matter what diet and exercise program you choose, you MUST be committed to stick to your plan. It is true in all that we do, and is basic. If you decide to do something, find the best way and JUST DO IT! I know that is easier said than done. But nothing is ever accomplished without a plan and a decision to stick to it.

2) Choose a weight loss and exercise plan that is realistic for you and your life style. It will be easier to stick to. Be realistic! You did not gain the weight over night and will not lose it that way either. Being realistic with your weight loss goals will help you not to be discouraged when it dose not happen overnight.

3) O.K. now that you have made your decision and set your goals in stone, the next thing I want you to do is to get a picture of yourself and chop your head off. Next obtain a picture of the body you would like to have and glue your head on the body. Next take that picture and post it on your refrigerator. I know about now you think I'm nuts, but let me explain. You open that refrigerator every day; you will see it every day. You will see the way you want to be every day. Not only will it help remind you, it will change they way you see yourself. Understand one thing, "What you dwell upon in your mind you become" In your mind's eye, you see yourself as overweight. This will help train your mind to see you as the way you want to be, which will enable your self-conscious to help you lose weight. Your mind is the one telling you to eat for one reason or another, It also has a self- image, change your self- image and you will change yourself. Please don't skip this step, it is more important than you may realize.

4) Weight loss and weight gain is a very simple equation. Take in more calories than you burn, and you will gain weight and vice versa. So the next thing you need to do is find ways to burn more calories throughout your average day. There are many ways to do this; here are a few ideas.

A) Use the stairs! Always use the stairs whenever possible. It is a very good form of exercise.

B) Gut sucks, you can sit at a desk or watch TV and suck in you stomach. Do it in reps just as you would do any exercise.

C) Park far away at the shopping center. Force yourself to walk further than you normally would. Also try to get in the habit of walking faster than you normally would.

D) Throw away the riding lawnmower and snow blower. Use the walking lawnmower and shovel the snow. Having said that, keep in mind your own physical ability and take it slow. Build up to it. Don't try to shovel 2ft of snow, when you have never shoveled before. Take your time and build yourself up to it.

Basically look for new ways to burn extra calories during your average day.

5) Now lets get to the food, Set up a balanced diet plan that will work for you. Each person's eating habits are different. If your plan is not right for you, you will not stick to it. I usually use the two below.

A) Eat small amounts of food many times a day, usually every 2 or 3 hours. This works best with good food, not junk food. Remember SMALL amounts. No Large meals! Drink large amounts of water, this will help keep your stomach full.

B) Eat a normal breakfast and a normal lunch, no stacks in between. Eat a smaller low carb dinner. No Pasta! No food after 6pm. Again you can drink a lot of water to help keep your stomach full.

6) More food tips:

A) Drink lots of water.

B) Don't cut out carbs but cut back on your carb intake, such as pasta, cheese, bread and potatoes.

C) Cut out as much fast food and junk food as possible.

Weight Loss Re Cap:

Remember Weight Loss is a balance of calorie intake and calorie usage. No matter what you eat if you use up those calories you won't gain weight.

Pick a plan that works for you and your life.

Be patient.

Make sure you still get proper nutrition.
